CRUISING PINK, 2026

Cruising follows Artemio over the course of one unstable night in Vancouver. Living under the pressure of his mother’s expectations, Artemio is expected to preserve a relationship that represents stability, respectability, and the possibility of a secure future. But he begins the night by following desire into secrecy, setting off a chain of choices that slowly pulls him away from the life others have imagined for him.
After returning home, fighting with his girlfriend, drifting through the city, and bringing another man into the family apartment, Artemio discovers that private decisions are never fully private. What begins as curiosity becomes consequence. What begins as temptation becomes a rupture.
Cruising is a film about self-sabotage, family pressure, and the danger of living too many lives at
once.
